My baby girl is turning 3 this weekend and she’s requested a Hello Kitty party. I wanted to create another special themed treat for the party in addition to the Hello Kitty gluten-free cake we’re having made. So I decided to come up with a super simple Hello Kitty marshmallow pop. Its not only incredibly easy, but its also a fun project to do with the kids. Ellie had so much fun making them with me! And Bonus: They’re gluten-free too.
Here’s my little angel as we shopped for Hello Kitty party supplies. She’s so happy! And now for the instructions to make these adorable treats.
SUPER SIMPLE HELLO KITTY MARSHMALLOW POPS
White chocolate chips/drops
White icing tube
Heart shaped candies or large heart sprinkles
Using the yellow food color marker, draw the yellow nose. Then use the black food color marker to draw the black outline around the nose, the eyes and the whiskers.
Using food scissors, trim the top two edges of the marshmallow in preparation for icing down the white chocolate chip ears as shown. Use your white icing tube to “glue” down the white chocolate chips.
Use the white icing tube once again, “glue” two candy hearts on their sides to make a “bow”.
And there you go. That’s it! 🙂
